Admission departmen

The specialists of the Admission Department admit both emergency and planned patients. Emergency patients are admitted for hospitalization 24/7. The department consists of the emergency reception room, rooms for the examination of therapeutic and surgical patients, rooms for dressing of septic and aseptic wounds, X-ray room, computed tomography room, ECG room, gynecology room and the room for ultrasound examinations, where the patients are checked up and provided with emergency care.

If necessary, a neuropathologist and a hematologist may be called to examine patients.

         

In case of a failure of any vital function, a patient is provided with an intensive care at the anesthesia and intensive care unit. The specialists of the emergency laboratory carry out clinical (complete blood count, urinalysis, urine diastase, blood glucose) and biochemical tests, including tests for cardiac markers, 24/7. The laboratory has the state-of-the-art equipment.
