Unit of Clinical Chemistry
The biochemical profile includes over 90 parameters and is carried out using Konelab30i analyzer (THERMO Fisher Scientific Co., Finland):
- Protein, lipid, carbohydrate, mineral, pigment metabolisms, etc.;
- Lipid profile (10 parameters), atherosclerosis risk factors;
- Antiphospholipid syndrome;
- Anemias (8 parameters);
- Serum protein electrophoresis using the unique Microtech 648 ISO analyzer (Interlab Inc., Italy);
- Range of specific proteins (18 parameters).
The patients may have a rapid biochemical test (up to 14 parameters). The results are available within 12-15 minutes.
