The department is the division of the 9th City Clinical Hospital.
The core activities of our specialists are to provide preventive care, to treat and to rehabilitate the patients of the hospital. To perform the activities we use physical therapy, physiotherapy, reflexology, massage and the state-of-the-art methods and techniques.

The Department of Medical Rehabilitation is the study site of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy of Belarusian State Medical University. The specialists of the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy regularly provide consultations to inpatients and ambulatory patients.
The highly-qualified staff includes rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapist, trainers, physiotherapy nurses and massage nurses. 90% of the staff have qualification categories, 30% of them have higher qualification categories.
New devices and systems are clinically tested at the department.
We develop and use new methods and technologies, i.e.:
- an early rehabilitation of the post-stroke and post-myocardial infarction patients;
- an early rehabilitation of the patients after organ transplantation;
- an early rehabilitation of cardiac surgical patients.
The specialists of our department collaborate with the specialists of the Department of Transplantation of Belarusian Medical Academy of Post Graduate Education on “the use a low-intensity magnetic laser radiation (Rikta device) to prevent a postoperative dysfunction of a kidney transplant received from a living related donor.”
The citizens of the Republic of Belarus and foreign citizens may get consultations and undergo ambulatory rehabilitation procedures at our department on a paid basis.
