The Surgery Unit consists of 12 operating rooms, which have the advanced equipment enabling medical specialists to carry out all types of planned and emergency surgeries on the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, hepato-pancreato-biliary system, thoracic cavity, genitourinary system, head, neck, soft tissues, vessels and bones.
We have the state-of-the-art HD endoscopy equipment. We use it to carry out laparoscopic surgeries in the patients with the diseases of the organs of the abdominal cavity, retroperitoneal space, ventral hernias and varicouse vein disease.
We also carry out minimally invasive surgeries under the guidance of ultrasound or X-ray. We have the latest ultrasound and X-ray systems to monitor minimally invasive surgeries on the biliary tract, liver and pancreas.
To perform complex and high-tech surgeries, including liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, we apply electro- and argon beam coagulators, the ultrasonic harmonic scalpel, LigaSure generator, the ultrasound cavitation destructor, mechanical suturing devices, advanced suture materials, high-resolution optics, etc.
We ensure sterile conditions in the surgery unit. All operating rooms have the laminar flow ventilation.
The surgery unit complies with the European clean rooms standard DIN EN ISO 14644–1.
